The Allihies Copper Mine Museum dedicated to the history of copper mining in the Allihies region, which began in the Bronze Age and ended in the twentieth century. The Museum tells the story of the lives of the miners and the technologies they employed.
Allihies Copper Mine Museum is housed in the old Methodist church, which served the Cornish miners in the 1800’s.
During the summer season the Cafe and Gallery walls are hung with works of art for sale highlighting local, national and international artists.
