Beethoven "Pasqualatihaus"
Museums & Art Centres
The Beethoven "Pasqualatihaus", part of the Wien Museum, was the house where Beethoven lived all together for eight years in a period from 1804-1815. The house was owned by his patron, Baron Pasqualati von Osterberg (1777-1830), who allowed the great composer to live here twice, on the fourth floor.
In this house Beethoven (1770 – 1827) worked on his 4th, 5th, 7th and 8th symphonies, among others, and above all on his opera "Fidelio".
