Castles & Country Houses, Gardens & Parks, Museums & Art Centres
Beningbrough Hall is a remarkable baroque house, completed in 1716, on the older Beningbrough estate. Since 1556 the estate has been in the hands of several families, the Bouchiers, the Dawnays and Lord and Lady Chesterfield, until it came in 1958 into the possession of the National Trust, after the death of Lady Chesterfield.

Beningbrough Hall holds changing art exhibitions, and there are over eight acres of formal gardens to explore, including a two acre working walled garden with a large fruit collection, several herbaceous borders, a newly installed and planted pergola and less formal areas managed for wildlife.
