The Circus- & Clown Museum is devoted to the wonderful world of Circus, Clowns & Variété. It dates back to the private collection of the author Heino Seitler and his first Clownmuseum in 1927. The museum was donated by him to the City of Vienna in 1968.
The Circus- & Clown Museum is in particular focused on the world of clows, whereas you can find many objects, attributes, costumes, etc., of various world famous clows such as Clown Charly Rivel or Variéte celebrities such as Josephine Baker.
