Castles & Country Houses, Museums & Art Centres
The Castello d'Albertis (D'Albertis Castle), once the residence of sea captain Enrico Alberto d'Albertis, is housing the Museo delle Culture del Mondo, which was opened in 2004. The museum features the ethnographic and archeological collections of the d'Albertis family.
The castle was built, in Gothic revival style, at the end of the 19th century on the ancient walls of the Bastion, dating from the 13-14th centuries. In 1932, after the death of the captain, the castle was donated to the city. For more detailed informations, see website
