The son of an Italian tailor working in France, Jean Gismondi was born in Montauban in 1940. The Italian art that illuminated his childhood was later to be the inspiration for his passion, taste and elegance.

Since 1966, the Galerie Gismondi, specializing in furniture, objets d'art, paintings and drawings from the seventeenth to eighteenth century, has been one of the major players in the prestigious profession of antique dealing.

A second generation today offer with expertise and passion a collection shaped by tradition, choice, quality and rarity.
