Goethe House is a birthplace of Johann Wolfgang von Goethe (1749 - 1832), and a house originally acquired by his grandmother. The house is decorated with period furniture and paintings, providing a fairly authentic environment in which Goethe spent his youth, together with his parents and sister Cornelia.
