The Hungarian Museum of Science, Technology and Transport, dates back to 1896, will get a new home and will be built in an abandoned former railway of the Hungarian State Railways in Budapest. In the meantime its other branches will continue to function as usual.
The branch museums are: the Ganz Ábrahám Foundry Museum, the Museum of Electrical Engineering, the Technical Study Stores, the Museum of Chemistry, the Metallurgical Collection, and the Museum of Aluminium Industry.
