Monte Palace is a 7 ha tropical garden, surrounding a museum. The garden contains a huge collection of exotic plants from all over the world, together with swans and duck’s, peacocks and chickens.
The central lake houses black swans from Australia, Tasmania and New Zeeland, whereas the wild white swans originate from Iceland and Scandinavia.
The Monte Palace Museum contains three floors, two of which are dedicated to sculptures. The third exhibits a unique mineral collection, brought together from all over the world.
