Munich Municipal Museum (The Müchner Stadtmuseum), founded by Ernst von Destouches in 1888, is the city museum of Munich, and is devoted to various topics from the city's history, to music instruments, to the national socialism and WW II.
The museum is located in the former municipal arsenal and stables, both from the late Gothic period.
