Muséum Genève (Perle du Lac), Musée d’Histoire des Sciences

The Muséum Genève is one institution for two museums and two locations. It is composed of the Muséum d’histoire naturelle and the Musée d’histoire des sciences. The Muséum d’histoire naturelle is located at Malagnou, whereas the Musée d’histoire des sciences is located at la Perle du Lac.

The Muséum d’histoire naturelle, dating back to 1820, is housed in a building constructed in 1966, which was designed by the architect Raymond Tschudin.

The Musée d’histoire des sciences is housed in the elegant La Villa Bartholoni in the beautiful Parc de la Perle du Lac.
