The Museo del Lapidario di Urbino, contains a rich epigraphic collection consisting of two groups: the first includes a collection brought together by R. Fabretti (1619-1700) with inscriptions from Rome; the second, preserves epigraphic and statuary material.
In the current layout, the tombstones are placed in 22 mirrors along the walls, while other materials (urns, stones, ares, etc.) have found their place in the center of the 5 rooms that make up the museum.
