The Kunsthistorisches Museum Vienna (KHM) is one of the finest museums in the world. It features the stunningly rich collections of the Habsburg dynasty. At its seat on the Maria-Theresien-Platz, you will find the Egyptian and Near East Collection, the Collection of Greek and Roman Antiquities, the Picture Gallery, the Kunstkammer, the Coin Collection and the Library.

The Picture Gallery displays unique works of Old Master, such as Dürer, Raphael, Rembrandt, Rubens, Titian, Velásquez and Vermeer. Noteworthy is that it contains the world’s largest collection of Bruegel paintings.

The Kunstkammer houses the finest artworks, such as the famous “Saliera“ by Benvenuto Cellini.

The other branches of the KHM (which you can all find on Tripendy), are; the Archives, the Ephesos Museum, the Imperial Armoury, the Collection of Historic Musical Instruments, the Imperial Treasury Vienna, the Imperial Carriage Museum, the Weltmuseum, the Theatermuseum and the Ambras Castle Innsbruck.
