Museum Het Valkhof is dedicated to the rich Roman history of Nijmegen, the largest Roman city in the Netherlands, with Charlemagne's Valkhof castle. The museum combines contemporary Expressionism with Roman history, old paintings, prints and crafts, in the setting of a modern building.
