The Natural History Museum has over 150,000 museum objects, which are divided into mineral and geological, paleontological, botanical and zoological parts. The permanent exhibition includes, among others an impressive collection of shells, numbering nearly 7 thousand copies.
A second part of the permanent exhibition is devoted to the forest fauna of the Croatian Adriatic coast.
The museum also offers temporary exhibitions, and has a well-developed education program.
