Palazzo Leoni Montanari

Castles & Country Houses, Museums & Art Centres
The Palazzo Leoni Montanari, the bank Intesa Sanpaolo's cultural and museum center in Vicenza, are housed in a seventeenth-century mansion characterized by an exuberant Baroque-style decoration, and displays permanently art collections belonging to the Bank, including a remarkable collection of Russian icons, ancient Greek painted pottery and 34 Venetian paintings.

The Gallerie di Palazzo Leoni Montanari in Vicenza, together with Gallerie di Palazzo Zevallos Stigliano in Naples and the Gallerie di Piazza Scala in Milan, constitute the Gallerie d’Italia, a network of cultural and museum hubs belonging to Intesa Sanpaolo in Italy.

These historical palazzi, which formerly housed banking institutions located in the heart of the city, have now been converted into exhibition venues where the Intesa Sanpaolo's art collections can be shared with the public. Cultural activities held here include temporary exhibitions, educational workshops, seminars, conferences, and musical events all aiming to engage with the local community on a regular basis.
