Plas Brondanw Gardens

Castles & Country Houses, Gardens & Parks
Plas Brondanw dates back to c1550. Sir Clough Williams-Ellis was given run-down Plas Brondanw by his father in 1902. He created over the years a unique and characteristic garden landscape.

The estate stretches from the mountains, through Cwm Croesor down to the village of Llanfrothen and occupies more than 3000 acres with 53 homes and 5 farms.

Since 2007 the estate is owned the Clough Williams-Ellis Foundation and managed by up to eight trustees, some of which are descendants of Sir Clough.
