The Riga Film Museum, founded in 1988, is devoted to the filmmaking process and its evolution over time in its permanent exhibition ''Behind the Screen''. One of the important subjects is animation, where you learn about the traditional techniques and the digital animation.
The museum, being the only film museum in Latvia, also organizes on a regular basis temporary exhibitions, lectures, events and movie screenings, lessons and creative workshops.
