Somme Museum

The Somme Museum, owned by the Somme Association and opened in 1994, presents Ireland's role in the First World War, with particular attention to the Battle of the Somme and the involvement of the 36th (Ulster) Division, the 16th (Irish) Division and the 10th (Irish) Division.

In addition, in recent years the museum's collection of Second World War artefacts has grown considerably, whereas the museum has now also on display a 'D Day' exhibition.

The president of the Somme Associario is HRH The Duke of Gloucester KG, GCVO.
