Unterlinden Museum, located in a former 13th century Dominican sisters' convent, is housing a complete spectrum of art, from prehistorical to contemporary times. There are interesting highlights such as the famous Isenheim Altarpiece by Matthias Grünewald and works of artists like Dürer, Cranach, Picasso, Dubuffet, Poliakoff...
The museum has been renovated and reopened in 2016 by François Hollande.
