Villa Reale di Marlia

Castles & Country Houses, Event, Film & Wedding Hire, Gardens & Parks
Villa Reale di Marlia dates back to the 15th century, as the Renaissance style Villa Marlia. However it was the sister of Napoleon, Elisa, who transformed it into an official royal residence, with extended and embellished gardens.

She was Duchess of Lucca, Princess of Piombina, Grand Duchess of Tuscany, and Countess of Compignano. Elisa was Napoleon's only sister to possess political power.

After the fall of Napoleon it came into the hands of the Bourbon family, who had to sell it. In 1923 the property was acquired by  Count and Countess Pecci-Blunt, who restored the villa, park and gardens.

Today Villa Reale Marlia is owned since 2015 by a Swiss couple, who decided to restore it, again, to its deserved glory.

Villa Reale Marlia is a venue for cultural, corporate and private events, such as concerts, receptions...
