Museums & Art Centres
The Writers' Museum is dedicated to the lives and works of three of the foremost Scottish writers: Robert Burns, Walter Scott and Robert Louis Stevenson. The building ("Lady Stairs House"), in faux-medieval style, dates from 1892 and was presented in 1907 by the Earl of Roseberry to the city for use as a museum.
