Casa Buonarroti, once owned by the world-famous Michelangelo, is a museum dedicated to this great sculptor. The palace was enlarged, embellished and converted into a museum by his great nephew, Michelangelo Buonarroti the Younger.

The palace contains some of Michelangelo's works, a library with the family archives, some of Michelangelo's letters and drawings, whereas the interior is beautifully decorated with works of early 17th century painters, such as Gentileschi, Bravo, da Cortona, San Giovanni...
