The Jagiellonian University Museum (Muzeum Uniwersytetu Jagiellońskiego), located in the historical monumental building of the Collegium Maius, contains the old University collections, with archaeological and art collections, medieval scientific instruments, globes, paintings, collectibles, furniture, coins and medals.
The Collegium Maius is the Jagiellonian University's oldest building, dating back to the 14th century. It has been meticulous restored from 1949 until 1964 to its original look from before 1840.
