Museums & Art Centres
Hébert La Tronche Museum, founded in 1934, is dedicated to the French painter Ernest Hébert (1817 – 1908), who was twice director of the Académie de France in Rome. He died in here.
The house, which he had inherited from his mother, is surrounded by a 2ha park. It was his wife Gabrielle, née d'Uckermann, who transformed the house in a museum in 1934.
