The Hill Garden were laid out between 1905-1925 by Thomas Mawson for Lord Leverhulme for his residence Inverforth House, or 'The Hill'. Today the garden is owned by the City of London Corporation.
The Hill Garden is also a licenced venue for weddings and civil partnerships.
