The Musée national Gustave Moreau is dedicated to the life and work of the Symbolist painter Gustave Moreau (1826 – 1898). The museum is located in his house and studio, respecting the original museum layout designed by the artist, displaying around 1,300 paintings, watercolours and sketches, and 5,000 drawings.
