Castles & Country Houses, Gardens & Parks, Museums & Art Centres
The Palais Galliera, or officially Musée de la Mode et du Costume de la Ville de Paris, is dedicated to the history of fashion, up to the present day. The impressive palace dates from the second half of the 19th century.

The palace was a gift from the Duchesse of Galliera to the French State, and meant house her stunning art collection, also planned to be donated to the State. However, anti royalist laws made change her mind, and her collection was donated to Genoa, where they are now displayed at the Palazzo Rosso and the Palazzo Bianco.
