Pegli Naval Museum (Museo navale di Pegli), displays the maritime collections of Genoa and the Rivieras. The collections include precious maps, paintings, drawings, ship models, construction and navigation tools, from the 15th to the 19th century.
The museum is located in the Renaissance villa, Villa Doria Centurione, built in 1540 for the banker Adamo Centurione. After his death it came into possession of the Doria family until 1908. It came into the hands of the municipality of Genoa in 1926.
