Staunton Country Park is a 405 ha (1,000 acres) landscaped parkland and forest, including many features such as a terrace, an ornamental farm, ornamental lake, maze, walled garden, a Chinese Bridge, a Victorian Glasshouse...
The glasshouse contains tropical flowers and plants from all over world, such as coconut palms, bananas and giant bamboos. They are set in a rainforest environment.
The house has been demolished in 1959, whereas the estate is owned by the city of Portsmouth since 1944.
