Krapina Neanderthal Museum
Museums & Art Centres
The Krapina Neanderthal Museum is devoted to the intriguing Neanderthals, and in particular the people of Krapina from the Stone Age, who lived in this area 125,000 years ago. The new Krapina Neanderthal Museum is located near the world famous site of the Krapina Neanderthals „Hušnjakovo“.
The Museum''s architecture evokes the habitat of the prehistoric man: the semi-cave. Unfortunately the ancient Krapina semi-cave no longer exists as it collapsed.
