Kerikeri international Piano Competition, dating back to 1987, became in 2012 a four-day biennial event for solo piano, with the New Zealand Pianist Michael Houstoun as its Patron.
All candidates participate in Rounds 1 and 2 with 4 selected for the Final.
The competition is held at the Turner Centre in Kerikeri, located in the scenic Bay of Islands, with a 400 seat auditorium.
