Attingham Park

Attingham Park was built for the first Lord Berwick in 1785, and stayed in the family until 1947, when it was bequeathed to the National Trust by Thomas, 8th lord Berwick. The estate covers around 1,619 ha (4,000 acres), 270 ha (640 acres) with parkland and gardens, including a deer park, walled garden and glasshouses.

The house contains mainly the family collections of Regency furniture, silver, paintings, porcelain and textiles.

At the estate there is an independently run cookery school, offering full day, half-day and bespoke cookery courses;

The house and gardens are open to the public.
