Shrewsbury Castle, dating back to Middle-Ages, was built as a fortification, but became later in private hands. It is since 1924 in public hands and houses a military museum, the Shropshire Regimental Museum Trust.
The collection includes pictures, uniforms, medals, weapons and other equipment from the 18th Century to the present day.
Shrewsbury Castle is also a venue for corporate and private events, such as receptions, weddings...
