Antiques & Art Galleries
Bowman Sculpture is based at 6 Duke Street, St James’s, London, and is the foremost gallery in the world for sculptures by Auguste Rodin.

The gallery starts its sculptural journey with European Romantic sculpture of the 19th century, dealing in the masters of this period such as Jean-Baptiste Carpeaux, Albert-Ernest Carrier-Belleuse and Aimé-Jules Dalou through to the Impressionist, Modern and Cubist sculpture of Edgar Degas, Henri Laurens and Ossip Zadkine. We also specialise in the work of the English New School sculptors including Alfred Gilbert, Lord Frederic Leighton and Alfred Drury.

Bowman Sculpture also exhibits the best of 20th century sculpture, particularly Modern British, including Henry Moore, Barbara Hepworth, Elizabeth Frink, Kenneth Armitage and Eduardo Paolozzi. In addition, we represent contemporary artists including Emily Young, Hanneke Beaumont, Nicole Farhi and Yves Dana.

The gallery works with private collectors and museums to establish their individual collecting criteria. Bowman Sculpture can actively search for specific sculptures or alert collectors when particular pieces of interest come on to the market. The gallery advises and bids at auction on behalf of clients.

Bowman Sculpture works with Fine Art Investment Funds and undertakes valuations for sale, probate and insurance.

Bowman Sculpture holds regular exhibitions at the gallery at 6 Duke Street, St James’s, positioned between Christie’s and the Royal Academy of Arts, in the heart of London’s art world. The gallery also participates in major international art fairs including TEFAF Maastricht; TEFAF Spring, New York; TEFAF Fall, New York; Frieze Masters, London; The Winter Antiques Fair, New York; and Art Miami.
