Cholmondeley Castle Gardens, dating back to the 12th century, is owned by the Marquesses of Cholmondeley. The present House dates from the 19th century. Only the beautiful park and gardens are open to the public.
The present owner, the 7th Marquess, lives with his family in the other family seat, Houghton Hall, Norfolk.
