The Dulwich Picture Gallery houses more than 600 paintings, including one of the world’s finest collections of Old Masters, including works of Rembrandt, Gainsborough, Rubens and Canaletto.
The gallery was the world's first purpose-built public art gallery and was designed and built by Sir John Soane (1753 – 1837), the famous architect, specialised in Neo-Classical style.
