Farnborough Hall & Gardens
Castles & Country Houses, Gardens & Parks, Private Collections
Farnborough Hall was built mid-18th century for the Holbech family, who owned the estate since 1684. It was designed most probably by the architect Sanderson Miller. In 1960 the Hall was donated to the National Trust by Geoffrey Holbech, however the family continues to live there.
The landscaped gardens, also the work of Sanderson, have hardly changed up to the present day.
