Frederiksdal is an Open Air Museum and Botanical Garden. It consists of an 18th-century mansion and associated lands of 36 hectatres, including the historic park, a Botanical Garden, a rose garden and a kitchen garden.
It was donated by Gisela Trapp, the widow of the historian Oscar Trapp, in 1918.
