Hovdala Castle was the home of the Ehrenborg family from 1665 to 1981. Today managed by the National Property Board Sweden, who started extensive restorations of the castle and garden.
Landscape Barbara Johnson restored the kitchen garden, which is supplying fresh food and herbs for the castle restaurant.
Hovdala Castle is now a popular visitor attraction.
