Julita Manor is an example of how a large estate would have looked and operated in the early 20th century. The last private owner, Arthur Bäckström who donated the estate to Nordiska museet in 1941, lived in the Manor House, which is open to visitors by guided tour.
The estate includes 2.000 hectares of land and a park with a kitchen garden, orchard, hop garden and presentation garden.
Julita Manor is owned and managed by the Nordic Museum.
