Strömsholm Palace (Royal Palace)

Castles & Country Houses, Event, Film & Wedding Hire, Gardens & Parks
Strömsholm Palace was built for the Queen Dowager, Hedvid Eleonora (1636 – 1715), and displays impressive interiors from the 1700s and an important collection of Swedish paintings.

Since the 16th century, Strömsholm has been an equestrian centre of Sweden, up to the present day, where equestrian competitions are held each year.

It is also a wedding venue, where couples get married in the romantic palace chapel.

The castle is open to the public during the summer months. Group visits are possible all year round via advance booking.
