The Lithuanian Folk Museum is a large open-air museum, covering 195 ha, introducing the regions of the country as they looked at the end of the 18th century and the first half of the 20th century.
The main eye-catcher is the town with typical buildings from different times.
Some other highlights are the 18th century Aristavėlė Manor House and the Exile and Resistance Movement Exhibition, a tribute to the tragic period in the Lithuanian history.⠀
The museum holds every year 15 different events.
