The Lithuanian Museum of Aviation is dedicated to the history of Lithuanian aviation, with an indoor and outdoor exhibition. Indoors you will find aviation engines, plane models, historical photographs and even a natural-size copy of the legendary 'Lituanica'.
The 'Lithuanica' was a transatlantic aircraft, flown from the United States across the Atlantic Ocean in 1933, which crashed under undetermined circumstances after successfully flying 6,411 km.
Outdoors you will find large aircrafts, the fire fighting and rescue service equipment, air force helicopters.
A special attraction is that you can pilot the planes, helicopters and gliders in flight simulators with special equipment!
