Musée de la Résistance Azuréenne, opened in 1987, retraces in a number of stages the history of armed resistance on the Côte d'Azur, towards the Vichy regime, the Italian and then the German occupation. The documentation centre contains over 8000 documents and over 850 photographs.
The museum is part of the Musée de la Résistance nationale, a network of museums with the mission to transmit the history and memory of the French Resistance.
