Civic Museum of Natural History Ferrara (Museo Civico di Storia Naturale Ferrara) focuses on geology, zoology, palaeontology and current environmental topics.
In the 19th century the collection was related to the Mineralogy and Zoology course of the University of Ferrara. Housed in a new museum from 1937, it got a fresh start after WW II, when new items were added and old collections were restored.
