Museum of the Risorgimento Turin is the first and only 'National' museum (of the 23 museums of its kind), dedicated to the Italian Reunification (Risorgimento). The museum features paintings, artefacts, documents and include also a multimedia room.

The Museum of the Risorgimento is housed in the beautiful Palazzo Carignano, commissioned by Prince Emmanuel Philibert (House of Savoy), 2nd Prince of Carignano. The palace was the birthplace of Marie-Louise, princesse de Lamballe, the famous confident of Marie Antoinette. It was also the birthplace of King Victor Emmanuel II (1820), the first King of Italy.
