The Queen's Gallery is located at the south wing of Buckingham Palace on the site of a former chapel bombed during WW II and displays work of art from the Royal Collection on a rotating basis. The gallery was opened in 1962 and reopened in 2002 with new extensions by Queen Elizabeth II, in the year of her Golden Jubilee.
