Tintinhull House is a 17th century house, surrounded by mainly an early 20th century garden, including a working kitchen garden, secluded lawns, colourful borders, clipped hedges and an orchard.
The garden is described in the book 'Penelope Hobhouse on Gardening' (1994), by Penelope Hobhouse.
The house has been for centuries property of the Napper family. It was given to the National Trust in 1954.
The 17th century house is a National Trust holiday cottage sleeping up to eight people.
