The Walker Art Gallery is the national gallery of the North. For 130 years it has housed Liverpool’s most outstanding art collection and is today one of the largest art collections in England outside London.
The collection includes many master pieces of European art from 1300 up to the 21st century, such as Holbein, Cranach, Rembrandt, Rubens, Poussin, Pittoni, Degas, many prepresentatives of the Pre-Raphaelites, Freud, Hockney, Banksy....
